4th call - who knows what my lucky number is?

Well here I am again. At Kings waiting for news from the TP coordinator. They are all being very positive this time saying the donor is a good candidate.

So here I am all showered and dressed up for theatre waiting to hear. I have no idea what to feel but consider myself to be very lucky to have been called up again. I know having got this far it will be a crashing emotional plunge if it doesn’t now go ahead.

Still feeling very positive and grateful to have made it this far again. If all you wonderful people don’t hear from for a few days then that’s great news as it will mean the surgery has taken place and I’m starting recovery.

Lots of hugs and positive thoughts to you wonderful people out their sharing the journey. See you all on the other side

In this post I’d just like to say thank you to all you wonderful people, without who’s lovely and supportive comments I don’t think I’d feel as good as I do toady. I’ll write a separate post that people can then chose to read or not, as it could be up-setting to some - I’ll make some comment in the title so that others are aware.

TLDR - transplant failed and I’m back in the queue; my “fault” this time as the liver was good.

I wish you all the warmest and loving huggs from Kings and to keep smiling through all you personal and individual journeys.

Peter you must be gutted. I feel gutted for you just reading that. My first transplant failed so have been where you are. Keep smiling and keep on believing it WILL all work out in the end. Hope you don’t have wait too much longer xxx
