Are you anaemic? That could be cause of breathlessness and also ascites they were the only times I was breathless and I was knackered constantly anyway so that's quite normal .. hope you get your answers soon X

Hi Rach

For me it was deffo the norm. Post tp very very slowly improving - but it IS improving 😁.

Noone ever really told me what type of liver disease I had and to be honest I didn’t care... main thing for me was to have a good end result! I hope you also have a good end result!

I have had this occurence. I did find that regular exercise and keeping up a good intake of food definitely helped me in that department. It's harder in the winter as the amount of exercise we get is minimized and the vit d we get is nil as the sun is not even visible in the short hours it is up in the sky. The depression and downer of this disease also contributes for me. But again the only thing I do to beat it is exercise and food.

Mind you doing this didnt fix the underlying problem it just helped combat the fatigue. It's still important to find out what the underlying issue is as liver disease can have a myriad of "comorbidities" as they call them.

Hi Rach8aker,

Sorry to hear your news and hope you get to see your doctor soon.

Liver disease can be different for each person and your symptoms are not out of the ordinary.

Doctors and many of those who post here have said that exercise, even a little bit, can improve energy. I must say it has helped my husband.

Best wishes and a Happy New Year,

Mary
