I'm so sorry that you're feeling so ill and so desperate. I'm still having lots of tests to see what's going on and what has caused my cirrhosis. It makes you feel that you have no control over your body.

I sincerely hope that you get the help you need soon.

Take care. Deb💓

Hi. I’m not very good with the numbers so I can’t answer that part of your post. I just wanted to say that every emotion you are feeling is normal and send you a cyber hug 🤗. So now you have the waiting game for 3 weeks until your next blood test. If your doctor decides to refer you to a transplant center it’s not the end of the world. There you will meet a hepatology team and they are the experts in Liver disease. They will look after you. Depending on your situation they may want to order their own tests to get a complete overhaul of what’s going on. This will include blood tests and maybe a ultrasound or scan of some sort. They will then explain to you what course of action is best in your case. Everyone’s situation is different, some people are just monitored by the transplant center and some people go on to needing a liver transplant. If the latter happens then, whilst it is a frightening prospect it is not necessarily a death sentence. There are many people on this forum who have had this operation and are now leading normal wonderful lives. I myself have had another 24 years after liver transplant. I just want add that you are doing all the right things by eating healthily and avoiding alcohol. I hope this has helped and feel free to ask any questions. Take care x
