Brett, that's absolutely disgusting, how anybody could do that to an elderly man or anyone for that matter. It left me lost for words what that couple went through. My son said, sadly it doesn't surprise him. Let's hope that this is an isolated incident.

All good here downunder. Feeling like shite is my new normal these days. I have very dark stools the last few days so went it A&E. It was packed! Never seen it so busy!

I was straight into a bed with the usual bloods etc. All came back fine but due to my history of varices, they are keeping me in overnight. Might have an endoscopy again in the morning. Whatever was bleeding inside was just minor and probably healed itself.

Oh well, nil by mouth incase I chuck up blood over everyone tonight lol.

Got a very inflamed ear canal, Dr gave me spray but it made me itch like mad so I'm now on tablets!!

Liver area and beyond is as bad as ever but there are people worse off than me!!! Hope you and your family are doing ok. Take care Lynne

Ear infections are the worst thing. I’ve only got my man with me. He’s got the night off from me tonight as I’m in hospital. He’s watching old movies with a couple bottles of wine the lucky bugger. I’ve just got a big drip in my arm and endone for company.

I've read this in more than one article. It seems the poor old husband was not exactly the blameless victim

He didn't deserve the physical injury but they had asked for the couple to go out of the fire door because of his attitude.
