Feeling very sad my family member seems to have withdrawn from any type of activity/gentle hobby and says they feel weary and looks very sad.

I have tried everything and it is very upsetting to watch

Have you tried a colouring book and sharpie pens? The works have a good supply x

He said he cannot concentrate on it and its boring.

I know the feeling I stopped all hobbies even reading became an effort, the colouring seems a good activity or perhaps painting by numbers, something that encourages the will to pick it up and finish it that can just be by the chair

My husband was the same but we used puzzle books & an online jigsaw game to help him stay focused & become a little more active.

It's a very tiring disease you just need to gently encourage them to do things

I could not read, constantly fell asleep watching tv, stopped most activities. My daughter started doing crosswords with me. It was wonderful. It would often take ages to actually fill in but we laughed at what the clues made us think about.

I looked forward to it every day.

Even after transplant my husband still does his puzzles & jigsaws, as he says it keeps the brain ticking
