This is a request from the Patient and Carer Network for UCLH Cancer Collaborative, the NHS Cancer Alliance for north and east London. They are looking to have more members affected by liver cancer involved.

Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary (HPB) Pathway Board – patient/carer representative

We are looking for a new patient/carer representative to join our Hepato-Pancreatic Biliary (HPB) Pathway Board. This is an important strategic role to improve pancreatic, liver and bile duct cancer services from diagnosis, treatment, to holistic support and quality of life. The Board is leading work to speed up diagnosis, increase participation in research, reduce waiting times, and make patient experience of services as good as it can be.

It’s a great role for someone with personal experience of pancreatic, liver or bile duct cancer (as a patient or carer/family member), who is passionate about improving NHS services, has a collaborative approach, and would like to make an impact. Links to pancreatic, liver or bile duct cancer communities and groups would be desirable but not essential. To be eligible, people must have been treated at one of the 17 NHS hospitals we cover or live in one of the 14 boroughs we cover – please see this link;
