Hello lovely people. Thanks for all the very helpful replies to most post the other week about my unbearable itching. On the advice of many of you, I asked my GP for questran and have been taking 1 sachet for over a week. Unfortunately I am still having episodes of itching (am itching as I write this - which is unusual as I almost always itch at night...) The GP said it’s best to keep to low a dose as possible, but thinking I need to up it to 2 sachets. My questions are 1) have I given it long enough on 1 sachet yet before I increase and 2) if I take 2 sachets, should I take them together or at separate times of the day?
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the brief spell of spring like weather, although it’s blowing a hoolie today down where I am!! X

My hubby found dream cream from lush really helped. He stopped taking questran because it made him so nauseous he couldn't eat enough. Its trial and error though and everyone is different x
Hi GD, well it certainly wouldn’t be a hardship to get some dream cream from Lush, I absolutely love their products so will be giving that a go for sure. Am I right in think it contains lavender, which would explain its skin calming and soothing properties.
You should check with your GP if you can take 2 as they can interfere with other medications I was on 2 one in morning and evening but I ended up with awful side effects I found I was ok on one x hope it eases soon
Hi Jake, god I hope it does, oddly I seem to be itchy more often since being on the questran...very strange. Last night was horrendous, I actually wanted to rip my skin off..the palms of my hands (where I’ve never had it before) especially.
