Today I am with Channel 5 news talking about ‘opt out’ this morning, anyone got anything they want to throw into the mix? Any sensational quotes or comments? Can’t guarantee they will make the cut....

Chelle 🙂

The only thing I would try and get across is that family members can always veto a persons dying wish. Which is a real shame. I think the donor's final wish should be sacrosanct and not over ruled by family members.

I just watched it via your link and was very touched by it well done you !!! X

Oh, I forgot to mention... Good Luck, "knock em dead", or should I say, "break a leg".

Yes, "you won't be needing your organs in the afterlife so give them to someone who will" 😉

Good luck! I think the opt out system is excellent. Can't wait until it's implemented for all those who are waiting for a lifesaving organ.

Don't think I've got anything sensational, but I can offer you good luck. I know I would opt in, don't think anyone would want my cirrhotic liver but I think everything else is in good repair!

Good look xx

I'm gutted that I missed it Chelle, Do you happen to know if the feature is available to watch on YouTube or any other media? I'd love to see it.

Hi chelle, poo .i missed you ! . I.must look on you tube. I am a registered donor even though my liver is no good to me never mind anyone else lol. But i was talking to my friend about this a few weeks back. I totally agree , we no longer need any organs once we have passed so do the selfless thing and help someone to live if you can .good on you chelle 😊xx

Nice to see Jeremy Hunt trying to do something good rather than chronic underfunding and trying to privatise the NHS.

Well done chelle I would definitely opt in but my liver is knackered but everything that is healthy I would donate like the others said were not going to need em and knowing that you' could be saving or changing someone else's life

Good for you girl, it's nice to be able to put a face to the person we all send messages to. (hey, I'm really impressed with you Christmas present wrapping skills).
