omg I'm so very sorry to hear this Pat. He made life so much better when i was going through a rough time. His emails made me laugh so hard my cheeks hurt. He checked in with me a lot. Such a fantastic man. Heartbroken 💔 he's no longer with us here but his wise words & funny jokes will stay with us forever. Rest well in paradise Brummi. Brummi was a piller in our small support group. Larger than life and always there for anybody who needed help.

He will be missed by everybody.

Brummi was the first person I communicated with on here, at a time when like all of us who have that diagnosis and understanding that a transplant is our only hope, PBC was a further shocking worry for me, and I found Brummi so supportive, so sane, so brave, so helpful, as did so many. I am so sorry to hear of Brummi's death. He was a wonderful man, such a help, support and example to all of us on this site and the 'PBC' site.

I am thinking of you in your loss, and hope you have good and strong family and friends to support you. He was so helpful when I first posted about my odd PBC diagnosis ... and when I was sent up to QEH - from Devon - to see Prof H, Brummi was a Godsend, reassuring about finding my way in QEH, and even offering to meet up if I was on my own.

He is going to be truly missed. You take care, and email if you need to chat.
