Scan Tomorrow

Just rang the hospital and have been able to get my ultrasound appointment for tomorrow instead of waiting until next Tuesday. Hopefully be able to find out why I've been feeling unwell once I've got the results to go with the liver screen.

Thank you. Just found out my fibroscan is next Tuesday so that the Dr has got everything in front of him for the 17th October. How are you now? Xxxx

That's good Lynne hope it goes well I'm not as sore now thanks just the usual. She said my GP will have the results in 10 days xx

Good. Do you have a liver nurse as mine said she can get results quite quickly xxxx

No I've only seen my GP I felt unwell for a while and when I had bloodtests the LFts where abnormal and too much iron so then I had more tests a liver screen I think and he said the LFts where still way off. He said he's going to look at the results altogether xx

I had a missed call and voicemail from my doctors asking me to ring the surgery. Just phoned and the receptionist said that my ultrasound results are back only had it yesterday. She said I needed to make a routine appointment with my GP which would of been for one day next week so I said I'd ring in the morning and get one for tomorrow. I'm panicking now the lady that did the scan wouldn't tell me anything just said that my GP would have the results in 10 days xx

I'm not going to go there with the don't worry bit as I know I would and have, let us know how you get on, fingers crossed it's something treatable and reversible..xxx

I went to my GPs I need to have an MRI of my liver. She said that my bile duct and gallbladder were slightly dilated but they couldn't see any stones and the liver was slightly fatty. Been told to go back if my symptoms feel worse or A&E xx

Hi Lindy,

A slightly fatty liver I'd hope could be reversed, my partner had cholecystitis (inflamed gallbladder) once and was in hossie about 9 days and had iffy liver function blood tests and a lot of pain at the time, for him to go to A & E is unheard of..no stones found...

I'm no doctor so have no idea what that all means so hope the MRI sheds greater light for you.

Hi Michelle yes pain in right side and into my back and shoulder. Feel so tired all the time the nausea and reflux is much better since I've been taking Omeprazole. I'll just have to wait for the MRI but I'm not going to leave it if I feel worse like I have in the past. Thanks for replying xx

A wise move Lindybob, my partners doc told him he had pulled a muscle! Glad the Omeprazole is working, I can't take the stuff but have had my share of Ranitidine. Take good care xxxx

I've got my appointment for an MRI it says Diagnostic Liver & Spleen. I only have 3 weeks to wait but have been wondering why it's of the spleen why would they want to check that? xx

I think that if your liver us swollen it can press on other organs. Also , I've heard that you can get an enlarged spleen when your liver is enlarged. Please take care. Lots of love Lynne xxxx

That's the norm for me as well but I think I no it's my nerves as of PTSD and the worry test after test I hope you get a nights sleep best wishes .

Can't get social worker mental health for me and daughter no help as I'm on to much medication which they put me on ,l even called adults in need to no avail but you no what the authority's soon be round for any thing they want! Think it's the insomnia getting to me but tomorrow another day hope your ok.

You won't believe this I slept from 8untill5 this morning .I hope your ok ,? Had good result at hospital the calcium deposit in my pec major got bit smaller so hoping the pain less over time. I thought that as I'm not the only one up with pain and also mine is PTSD it was just went in bed and thought if it's pain or nerves I need to sleep even 30min I really didn't care if I was up and had hospital so I had 2good results and hope that
