Thank you for your reply! I don't drink or smoke. I have changed my diet but I am really struggling to stay awake some days I have a 3 year old I work 24 hours a week. not much support around me and no one understands my diagnosis. I suppose it might all be clearer after my hospital appointment in September x
Just give it time kage, If your liver is at the Fatty Liver stage, then you are doubly fortunate. Firstly, you are lucky that your liver problem had been identified at this stage. Most people don't get to realise they have a problem until alcohol has done far to much damage.
The second reason I say your lucky is that with Fatty Liver being found early. It has a good chance of totally repairing it's self. Please give it time to do it's work and make these repairs. Please don't go and make the same mistake I did. I had a liver function test done by my GP some years ago, and the results were at the time pretty poorly. The GP repeated the test six months later and said, "Oh your liver's looking a lot better". I took this to mean it was now fine and that I could drink again. BIG mistake. I ended up having a liver transplant. I have put together some information which you might find of use: taep.eu Good luck.
Sorry, just reread your original comment and seem to have mistook your story. I am sorry, please disregard.
