I had esophageal varrasis last year & bled out twice in 2 different hospitals.I have now developed varicose veins on my outer stomach & back.
I'm normally not the type to over worry about things but these are very painful and I'm scared of them popping and killing me before I get a chance of a 2nd liver transplant.
Is anybody going through the same or been through the same.

My veins were always more pronounced when I had water retention and I did get it in my private area as well because I have never known anyone get varicose veins after having varices and I had a lot of them I also had many bleeds and banding procedures.
I have a lot of veins on legs after my varise bleed but havent thought much about it. Lots of people have varicose veins though especially at my age..67. If worried ask your doctor...I know how worrying it can all be. I had an US last week as my stomach was really big but no fluid seen thank heavens..,so looks like at last I am putting on weight!
