Help and advice needed

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, I'm new to this..

Okay, so I've been recently diagnosed with gallbladder disease, and I'm currently waiting for surgery. But what I want to know is, has anyone else experienced nausea after everything they eat? Lately it seems it doesn't matter what I eat, i get a dull ache and this sickly feeling. I feel really bad at the moment, I just want to know if this is normal then maybe I could stop worrying so much. Thanks in advance

Hi Gallgal

I don't know too much about the gallbladder but my mum used to have problems. I know she used to get a sickly feeling after eating. She had her gallbladder removed a couple of years ago and has not had any problems. I hope you get sorted out soon and get on the mend.

Hi, I had my gall bladder removed in 2011.

Before the op I suffered in the way you describe. Remember that if the gall bladder is blocked then the flow of bike is restricted if not blocked completely, as nine was.

Post surgery this wasn't a problem in itself. It's just other problems I already had that bring me here.

Hope that helps.

Rita

P.s. I know that I have replied to the reply instead of original post - just noticed and being lazy about trying 😂😂

It's been 30+ years since I had my gallbladder out. I do remember feeling poorly after eating sometimes and aching. Hopefully when yours is removed you'll get sorted out. Positive thoughts

I had the same problem when i had gallbladder problems and got to the point more and more food made me sick. After i had surgery i felt a lot better. I think things will do better for you after your surgery. Wish you lots of luck.

Thank you all for replying. I've not been quite right for a while now. I had jaundice around 2 months ago due to a blockage and an ultrasound scan discovered a lot of stones in my gallbladder. I just want to get back to feeling normal again

I too have just been diagnosed as having gall stones.I got some pills from my doctor to help with the nausea I also am just eating very small amounts of food totally fat free I can tolerate Weetbix with non fat milk salmon and salad Bananas prunes and grapes and dry crackers. also vegetable soup with chunky vegetables. So far I am ok ,I am waiting to see a consultant, and dread the terrible pain sweating and sickness I experienced. Hope this helps but go see your GP.
