For the benefit of Jessereyes. These are my little peaky blinders. Think you'll see the yellow is fairly obvious.

But like everyone else said if you are concerned you should see your GP.

Hi identity75 .that's such a good kind thing to have done. I don't know what to say ... that's really shaken me up seeing you like this. I have only ever seen jaundice of the eyes when I got talking to a very poorly gentleman at the hospital.

Sending you my very best wishes .it sure is a horrid illness. Linda.

Have you been told you need a transplant? When I was admitted to the hospital last June my eyes were yellow, even my skin had a yellowish tinge. My Bilirubin was 20 and my liver enzymes were in the high 1000s. Fortunately, my liver had no cirrohsis and was only inflamed. I'm hoping this is the case with you. Wishing you the best... 🌷

Hi, yeah I'm currently on the waiting list. I've also got a yellow tinge to my skin, I tend to notice it most on my hands. My bilirubin on the last set of results I got was 147.

I wonder if the testing numbers are done differently in the United States and Europe. I was told that the Bilirubin normal number should be below one. And the two liver enzymes that are always checked should be below 40. However, the test numbers seem different and now I am confused. Guess I need to pay closer attention and do a little research.

My eyes where yellow for about a yr before I had my transplant. My solution was to wear tinted glasses lol soon as I had transplant my eyes and skin where normal colour. Fingers crossed you get the call soon 🙂

I remember when my skin started to turn yellow, didnt really notice it , just that I had a good tan ha ha (I was in denial at the time) didnt notice my eyes turning yellow as i stop putting make up on. It was only when my wee turn a verydark brown , I thought they might be a problem

Last April I got admitted to hospital with jaundice I actually looked like a Simpson character. I was told my bilirubin was really really high can't remember the exact number though. I had a biopsy and was lucky enough to find I only had PBC and that since starting the medication I became less yellow. All I know is because I left it so long before I went to get anything checked I had damage to my liver which was more than it should of been.

So for anyone who is worried about their liver and just keeps putting off going to get checked I advice you to see your gp.

Hope everyone is doing well and sending hugs to you all xx
