Viekirax side effect?

Has anyone taking Viekirax Pak (without ribavirin) noticed that their urine is darker and has a stronger smell? I've mentioned this to the nurse when going in for my first two checkups but neither seem to be worried about it or make any comment.

Hi, I'm on viekirax exviera & did have that at first, mainly first thing in the morning, I found drinking lots and lots of water sorted it out for me. Good luck with the treatment

Thanks, it does seem to be worse in the morning. I've cut back on caffeine and try to remember to keep drinking water but sometimes I'm forgetful.

ya I often have to remind myself to drink water too. I've actually up'ed my daily coffee intake, I heard it's good for the liver

Hi yes, I had this when I started taking it in the morning. Like Tess says lots of water helps and I found the drugs made me thirsty anyway. The good news is that since I finished he treatment  my hep c is undetectable. So hang on in there.

Thanks, it's reassuring to know that other people had the same experience. Part of my blood test results from week 4 have come back showing my liver and kidneys are normal, so that's a relief.
