Well it will be soon to have another procedure (TACe) and you could sayit took me about 2 weeks to get over it because of the pain at the last minute of procedure. I had to have an Echo on heart prior and wonder if one has this test just before having the TACE??? on each occasion.

I only had the heart check the first time, if I remember rightly. My experience was fairly painless, as I said before, and I hope yours is this time.

Yes, I had a transplant 18 months ago.

IS TACE EFFECTIVE? WHAT IS THE LIFE EXPECTANCY AFTER TACE? NAUSEA? PAIN? GENERAL FEELING OF UNWELL AFTER TACE? COULD YOU GO BACK TO WORK AFTER TACE? HOW LONG WERE YOU IN THE HOSPITAL AND HOW OFTEN WERE THE FOLLOW-UPS/REVIEW? ETC.,

I think you'll get the heart check just at the start of the process, so not each time if all is well. Please do tell them how painful you found it last time. Maybe they can give you pain relief, light sedation, or help you in some other way. Good luck!
