After the London Vitality Virtual 10,000 I ran two weeks ago, this morning I ran my 26th 10K, I set out to do two things, to get a sub 60 minutes 8K split and a sub 75 minutes 10K, I managed both, my 8K split time was 59.26 and ran the full 10K in a sub 75 minutes time of 1:14:18, all in all for me that was a gentle 10K, about five minutes slower than two weeks ago.

I have ran 5/10 mile runs, the last one was on October 6th 2021 which was my fastest, run in a time of 2:01:02, so it's high time to have another go at that distance.
The way I felt this morning and two weeks ago was I might be able to continue for a bit longer, so who knows my 6th ten miles run might be possible. 😊 🏃🏾
That is correct Oldfloss, I also remember my first 10 miles run, it was raining but I just continued on until the run was completed, it was so exciting 😊👍🏃🏾
If the rain isn't too heavy and it's not blowing a gale I will be running as normal, very icy weather is dangerous for running in which case I won't run. 🏃🏾
Yes but after a run I enjoy an ice cream swirl, I did mention that in my recent report on finishing that London Vitality Virtual 10,000, when I came home the ice cream was delicious 😋.
Thanks Frenc, it was a bit of a so so run after last weeks 100th not parkrun and the London Vitality Virtual 10,000 two weeks ago, but a 🏃🏾 run is a 🏃🏾 run 👍
Good discipline Al. Running too fast too often is a recipe for a short cut to the IC…don’t I know it! A good solid sensible run. Have some ice cream!! 🍨🍧🍦
