Firstly I want to apologise late to responding to posts. I am getting used to working normal hours now so all a bit full on and real!! But I will respond as love reading how everyone is doing, so inspiring ๐ช๐ โญ๏ธ๐ช๐๐ช๐ โญ๏ธ๐ช๐
Yesterday I headed back to my old running ground Battersea Park, where I completely and utterly feel in love with running Wow, wow and wow. ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ I cannot even begin to describe how truly amazing and magical I felt being able to run round the park again, last time was 30th December. It literally felt like everything and more to me and I truly felt the magic and sparkle all around me ๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐. I have a tree in the park that is really special to me (sorry, I did say I was tree mad!) I call it my โtree of hopeโ ๐ฒโญ๏ธ๐ฒโญ๏ธ๐ฒโญ๏ธ๐ฒโญ๏ธ๐ฒโญ๏ธ๐ฒโญ๏ธ๐ฒand since March 2020 I have admired this tree through all the sessions and watched it blossom and have been reassured in the fact that happy days will return again and I will experience lots of happiness! Well after being able to run round the park I knew I had to visit my tree of hope ๐ณ ๐ณ ๐ณ and take some photographs it felt so magical to witness the new buds on my tree a true sign to me already of the hope and happiness I have experienced especially over the last few months ๐๐ฆ๐งธ๐๐ฆ๐งธ๐๐ฆ๐งธ
I felt really comfortable running around the park, feeling strong again. unfortunately my Fitbit ran out after my second km so donโt have my times but my first two Kmโs were 5.48 & 5.27. I am so looking forward now to go out running for 30 minutes. Thank you for all your support it means the world.
Simply wonderful Rebecca! It's fantastic and, as you say magical, when you have a place to run that touches your heart like that ๐๐๐Just 3 more runs left now until you get your second graduate badge. ๐๐๐ You are absolutely smashing it. Way to go you ๐ฆธ๐ฆธ๐ฆธ๐ช๐ช๐ช
Aww thank you so much Mrs B I am so excited, I canโt believe it is week 9 now can almost see the sparkling second graduate badge now (he he will have to make myself one!!) Hope you are ok ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ xxx
Well done and great pace. Happy running. I love this time of year, new life all around, lambs in fields, budding leaves on trees and flowers blossoming. Starting to get a little warmer day by day too.
Great post from you Rebecca, that is YOUR tree of hope in Battersea Park, that's good that you are now working normal hours, good luck for your second graduation run, you will certainly get a sub 30 minute 5K when you run it
Every post you write is full of such energy and happiness and is truly inspiring. Loving the Tree of Hope. ๐ณ
It sounds like you had an amazing run, and now youโve reached Graduation Week for the second time.
A Double C25k Graduate ๐ ๐ how cool will that be to throw casually into a conversation....oh yeah C25k, itโs really good that, Iโve completed it twice........๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ.
Your times are off the scale, when it comes to running, youโre a sports car whereas I am....wait for it.......an old Coach ๐
