Just Completed my early morning run. Was out for 5:20am, armed with my nurse torch in my pocket (I know very silly!!) dressed in my long running sleeved top, shorts and favourite blue running jacket with my hood up!
Started the C25K app as soon as I got out of the door. Stuck to the main roads, which are well lit. It didnโt seem as dark this morning and off I headed to Clapham Common. Had forgotten I would be running 8 minutes so didnโt have time to think about it, just did it and it felt brilliant. There was no one else on the pavements so I enjoyed singing outloud (badly) to my playlist which I loved (just using the 30 minute free Spotify option at the app at the moment so a bit hit and miss and something random starts playing!!) but this morning great song after another:
The Shallow (favourite song at the moment) Rocket Man, Shine, Gold, This is me, Letโs here it for the boy, Iโm Still Standing and The Greatest Showman. lol so I managed to run and sing (badly) this morning and run for eight minutes, so I think I will be able to manage a conversation when running with someone else, something I have yet to do yet!!
So this is me! Run โ breakfast โ put a wash on โ post โ and now off to work feeling amazing, you really canโt beat that early morning running feeling!!
I wish you all a Happy Easter ๐ฃ filled with lots of chocolate and hot cross buns!
I have seen this sign a few times out on my run and it always makes me smile and think of the last time I took my Great Nephews to Wimbledon Park and I was calling them my little puddings which they thought was hilarious reeling off all the puddings they like and have at nursery (there were lots)

Love that sign, good early morning run again for you, I didn't realise you were a nurse, one of the best jobs in the country at the moment, I wish you a Happy Easter, don't eat to many Hot x Buns or Easter Eggs.
Not so sunny today where I live in Central Scotland, cloudy but dry, today in London you are having the non stop sunshine we had yesterday, on Saturday Glasgow and Central Scotland were the sunniest place in the UK.
I have had a lovely Easter this year Rebecca, over the Easter Weekend since Friday I have walked /ran 39 Kilometers to add to my COGH challenge, I will round off the weekend this evening with a ๐ Pizza๐ ๐๐พ ๐ถ
You are an inspiration, I loved reading that post, I could feel your energy and determination......I donโt know how you do it....youโre a real superstar ๐คฉ.
Great playlist too, I hadnโt heard The Shallow, Iโve just listened to it, itโs a lovely song.
Iโve never run with anyone else either, but I have plans to later this year ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ

It is such a beautiful song, I really love it! The film A Star is Born is really good and worth a watch.

Youโre doing brilliantly! Iโm not sure I qualify to be considered your coach, but Iโm happy to accept the role ๐
It is a beautiful song.
How funny is that, weโre both solo runners, youโll be the first to know when I go out for a run with someone else and how I got on, Iโm looking forward to it๐
Happy Easter to you too, next run is imminent....watch this space x
Happy Easter Rebecca ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ฅ Well done on getting out so early this morning, no run for me today, but was awake early, must have known you were out โบ glad it's a bit lighter now for you.

Well done! Do you know Iโd completely forgotten that my 20 year old self tried to run on Clapham Common once, badly! I had to go to the osteopath later in the day๐. There were no such things as cell phones back then, yet alone sensible running apps!
Congrats on a great run and having the place all to yourself, you definitely set yourself up for the day ๐๐๐.
Aww thank you so much Lottie fellow runner age bad singer he he he. It always leaves me feeling that I have a better shift. Canโt believe going to do run 3 tomorrow !!

I really admire your ability to get up early and run, we didnโt wake until almost nine both yesterday and today, while out today I was saying good morning to people until I realised it was 1pm Itโs so lovely though to know you are out there and enjoying your runs, loving that playlist too some of those were on mine today and yes i sung badly along, poor Willow x
Aww thank you Sola not something I would ever have thought I would have enjoyed to be honest but I seem to be Sb early bird!! Lol we are a great bunch of singers!! Haha
I really am Sola I was so sad when I couldnโt run. It is 3 months today since I had the virus I can start testing this week but nervous about doing the first one praying I donโt show up as still positive as I know you can. Hope you and Willow have had a lovely Easter together are you back to work tomorrow? I am going to treat myself to a new running too for Easter and hopefully completing my 20 minute room.
Thatโs brilliant, one of our staff had Covid, after 90 days he tested negative so i have my fingers crossed for you Oh 3 months is a long time but it sounds like you have recovered well and itโs great to read your progress xx
Hi Sola,Oh that is brilliant to hear thank you for that. Will let you know how I get on. Aw thank you yes I really feel I am getting there now, been so lucky. The Doctor suggested 6 months so I feel I am doing well.
