I ran my fourth sub 30 minutes 5K this evening, 29:54 (just made it by seconds!!). My splits were 6:23, 6:05, 5:56, 5:36, 5:26 💪💪🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
I have had a really busy day today and felt so tired after working two long days. It did cross my mind for a split second not to go for a run, but I knew due to my rota I would not be able to fit my 3 runs in next week and I didn’t want that, so although I felt really tired I decided I would go for my run at 5pm which is late for me!!!
I mixed everything up today! Time I went for run, music and route. I ended up running over Chelsea Bridge, (so pretty and magical all lit up) and along the river heading towards Vauxhall bridge. It felt like a good steady run, although I was tired (I could feel it whilst running) plus the cold 🥶 🥶🥶I felt so much better after the run (as I always do!) and proud of myself for getting out there and being on track to complete week five on Sunday⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Sparkly legging update, I got a full refund so I am delighted.
Happy Running fellow runners 🏃🏻♀️💪🐻🐻🐻

Brilliant on doing another sub 30mins 5k, good splits. I got out today too after a long break due to runners knee and it was pretty cold. Did you do gait analysis before getting your shoes?
Well done on your run, sorry you have been injured hope your knee is better. Yes so cold at the moment. Best thing I did makes such a difference having the correct running shoes. Would recommend it.
That sounds amazing, being in the city and seeing all the lights, you did well to run so late in the day and so fast Glad you got rid of the falling down leggings
We usually run in the park and surrounding areas but for my ling run last week I went along the seafront and it was lovely. One thing I did notice in the busier parts was i had to dodge people they didn’t even see me which was encouraging
Well done. Those split times are really fast. I remember when I used to run sub 30 mins 5K at the gym and I would be sprinting for the last 5 minutes. I doubt I’d be able to sustain such a fast pace all the way around. Excellent.
Fantastic run - and just look at those splits! Especially as you felt tired. But you grabbed that opportunity to run and smashed it! Brilliant!Chelsea Bridge sounds so pretty - I haven't been up to London since I started working from home in March.
Four sub 30 5k’s 🏃♀️💥 that’s brilliant Rebecca, well done. Lovely to see the Christmas lights as your running along, must be quite a site (photo op for next post maybe?) Glad to hear you got a refund on those leggings 👍🏃♀️
