Think I need running more than ever!

I have had a terrible few weeks, first a really heavy cold so been off for 2 wks. Then without dampening your Sunday, I have had a bit of a health scare, so will have to have investigations. At this point it is all unknown and terrifying. After reading everyone's inspirational posts I thought today is the day to start running again. Still abit chesty but thought perhaps it will help. Feel like the season has totally changed since my last run so wore too many clothes but went out with low expectations. Before stopping the running I was on Wk 7 of the magic plan. So thought I would just run the 4k at gentle pace. I found it very hard indeed with alot of nose blowing. Tried to take in the beautiful trees. What I did not expect was the wave of emotion that came over me after 15 mins. To which "I am strong" mantre emerged. Feel better for it, sense of achievement. If I can build the distance up again, the running will definitely be a big help to me.

Thank you for all your inspiration

😘

Good for you getting out there, despite the health scare. I wish you well, but anxious times can be helped by running! Take care.
