Such a lovely morning here in Norfolk. I decided to get out and make the most of the last day of summer.
I tried a slightly longer circular route through the fields. There's one bit where the footpath runs right across the middle of the field which is now ploughed - including the footpath π‘. So I stomped as much as poss over other people's footprints to make the path clearer.
When I got back home my watch said 62 mins. Hurray! I've got to the end of the timed magic plan! You could have knocked me over with a feather (particularly as my legs stopped holding me up when I stopped π).
So I'll be moving across to the distance magic plan. That's going to be even harder and is going to need some repeat weeks I think.
But today, I think I'll just bask in my current victory. And maybe find a nice sunny place in the garden to rest my poor old legs π.

Thanks Instructor57. Yes a badge is just what I need to feel I've moved up a stageππ

Congratulations on an epic achievement! An hour on your feet is really something. Hopefully you are delighted πππ have a great rest of day too. You'll be fine with the distance plan. Just go steady and a slow comfy pace more often than not.
Absolutely! You're doing brilliantly. Try some runs now (especially longer ones) at a purposefully slower pace. It seems strange at first but if you can do this the benefits are enormous.
Congratulations Lifluf on running non stop for 62 minutes, well done, if you wish to see the words 60minGraduate next to your username tell the administratiors in the pinned posts of the Healthunlocked September B210K graduation Homepage that you have ran for 62 minutes, once again congratulations.
Well done on cracking the 60 minute run barrier! That is really some achievement. 7k is perfectly respectable as well - well I say that because that's what I did in 60 mins as well
I'm sure you'll enjoy moving over to the distance plan and will be at 10k before you know it. I'd give you a medal but I'm on my laptop and it doesn't do emojis....
Well done πππππitβs a great feeling as for me in March it felt like an impossible goal. πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Thanks. Yes I'd have laughed if someone suggested I run the distances I am doing now. I think the next stages to 10k will take me a little longer than the magic plan design but I'm in no rush.
Well done Lifluf on your 62 minute run! βπΎ I am a Norfolk girl too so thought I'd say hi. I bet you enjoyed that little bit of stomping! How lucky are we living in Norfolk βΊοΈ. Happy running!
Thanks Runjilly. Yes I'm very lucky with the choice of footpaths and quiet roads to run and enjoy the space and countryside. We are definitely in a good place here in Norfolk.
