Hi Runners!!

This has been another great week! I’m absolutely blown away that I’ve covered over 93 miles on my way to John O Groats, 🏃🏽‍♀️ 😲 and I’m currently in Sourton Cross! 😆

I’ve been enjoying my real life tours of parks and forests in my local area and I’ve discovered that off road is definitely my very own magic feel good ingredient! 🌳🌲🥰🥰 I don’t know why it has taken so long for the penny to really drop! 😳

I’m suddenly not afraid of winter approaching (and my traditional dip in enthusiasm as the days grow shorter 🥴!!) I think this is going to be my best year yet. If I can keep this up, I think I might just make it to JOG!! 😱...🤭...I think! And that’s a fabulous place to be! 🦾 🏃🏽‍♀️😃

I love that part of the country too with Braunton Sands, Clovelly, Lynmouth, and Exmoor.

Thank you so much Dexy5!! 🤗 Yes, LEJOG has certainly raised the game!! I really feel that same joy of C25K!!

In fairness I’ve never followed a plan since, despite the many options to do so, but I wanted to have my time just enjoying running and making it more of a lifestyle, than a plan. All things come along at the right time, I think. And LEJOG was perfect timing. 😁❤️

This is great, Fab 😍🎉. It's obviously just what to needed to inspire you. Just near to Sourton Cross there is a reservoir which is where I went for my first 'date' ( I know, a walk other than a restaurant 🤣) with the man who would become my husband 26 years ago! Looking forward to more updates 😊

You know...I found out yesterday that there are “hills drills” coming up in my Garmin plan too! 😲 Hopefully, not for a couple more weeks. 😆

I found myself having to tackle one on the home stretch of my last run too!! 🥴! But I made it! Good practice no doubt!! 🤓Devon watch out!! 😂😀😀❤️

Oh you’re not far behind me - I’ve the girls a few days this week so I might see you catch up. Let’s have coffee. You’d love running around here - we have a 13 mile greenway around the town and it runs near my house. There’s a fancy dress run going on there today for a food charity.

Oh Sybilw!! I would absolutely love to be in a fancy dress run!! 😃😃 And your area sounds perfect for running. I’m fortunate to live in a leafy area in the south, but I do like the open green spaces a lot. It just reminds me of how wonderfully simple things can be!! Amazing!! 🤩

I’m in Swindon, so I’ll actually be getting nearer to my real home in LEJOG soon too. I’ll ask the boys to put a flask out for you as you go by. I do hope to see you for coffee at some point, but if not, I’ll be happily running towards you and I’ll definitely be after my share of the shortbread!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Enjoy your week Sybilw! 🤗❤️
