5k with 2k More Tagged On For Good Measure

Haven’t run for a few days, following my unintentional 10k, 😂 had to get out there today as I was missing it too much. Something I never thought I’d say in a million years.

Perfect weather, cool and fresh set off at 6am, tried to hit my third sub 30 5k but unfortunately wasn’t to be.

Not too shabby though for a former couch spud. Even managed to tag on an extra 2k on the way back home.

Thank you GTFC, I’m still enjoying running and the high it gives me, plus I’ve lost quite a bit of weight and toned up so all good. I kept my C25k journey to myself initially but when I eventually told my work colleagues and they could see my enthusiasm, 5 of them actually started C25k and 2 are now on their W9R3 this week 👍
