Still here, still okay

Life got a bit busy there for a bit - extra child minding duties etc while my shop worker children and their partners had to do extra hours.

Calmed down a bit now, though it looks like I’ll be keeping Taylor Beagle here for the foreseeable future, as it’s easier for me to get her out/exercised due to where I live on the very outskirts of town.

Started using a Garmin heart rate training plan, yesterday. Will probably need to fiddle with my max heart rate at some point, but I’ll give it a week to see if it will automatically fix them, first.

Bit frosty at 6:30 this morning, but the air was fresh and clear, and warm 🌝 without the biting wind we’ve been having.

Thrashed out my required intervals all in a line while ignoring the Garmin shouting at me that my heart rate was too high - well it’s got to learn somehow 😉 - then had a leisurely walk back to where I’d parked the car.

Good luck with the HR plan.👍 Must admit I've turned off most of the Garmin alerts I set up, though I do like the audio prompt telling me the pace of each km or mile as I complete them.

I run most of my gadgets as quietly as possible - can’t be doing with all the beeps and buzzes, but I need them for intervals.

I’m Really lucky, I could get there by running all the way round, but it’s a 2 minute drive, and I wanted to check out what livestock was where.

It’s also a 10 minute stroll away, but wanted to avoid the roads.

As a lady of a certain age, I often find myself wide awake at 4am, and it was definitely daylight enough for me to have gone out without a head torch today not long after 5.
