First road run in a year😱

For the last year (since moving), I’ve been trotting round my garden & doing a few park runs. Well today l went for a “proper” run!! I say a run, there where plenty of deep puddles & in places, running water on the road. I covered 6.58km. Not fast but throughly enjoyed it. Beginning of a new chapter me thinks. Happy running folks

You did really well running that distance after not having a proper run as you say for a year. Here's to lots more😊

Thanks Buddy!! I’ve been running round my garden regularly (3x5k) a week. The gardens about 1/3 acre. There wasn’t a challenge to it. Think I’m ready for the magic plan now😱

Enjoy those road runs, I do pretty much all my running on roads, not so slippy and muddy although with all that rain looks like you need to be careful on yours. you must have an enormous garden if you’ve been running round it. Happy running

What was that big puddle like in the distance? A swift leap over it, a dodging bounce off the hedgerow it was it just, oh sod it let’s just get my feet wet?!
