After many weeks being stuck on 8 miles....I have finally hit 10 miles this morning through beautiful sunny hilly french forest. I wasnt coming home until I did it.

This has been my best running week hitting three records...fastest 5k in 27 mins...fastest mile 8-31 and now longest run 10 miles....chuffed with myself...time to look for race number 2?

Hi there...it was lovely.

We had storms Tuesday and lost a nights sleep to thunder and lightening....the trails were very muddy and washed away in places.

It is easier going out when it isnt pouring down...hope your running is going well?

I don’t mind the rain but could live without the mud lol, it’s too slippy. I’m suffering with some hip pain at the moment n noticed the running aggravates it so I’m on the IC n doing strengthening exercises in hopes it goes away. It’s very frustrating, I’m ready to increase to 6k n really looking forward to it 😤

Fantastic week all round Franglaise! I’m not surprised you’re chuffed to bits with yourself. Who knew that running could do this to us? So good! 👏👏👏

Oh, and if you haven’t already, don’t forget to claim your 10 mile badge on the marathon and race forum, and stare at it adoringly all day. 🏅 😍

Thank you...oops, claimed it on the wrong forum...thanks for putting me straight...hope your running is going well

Great stuff! It’s a great badge to have. 😀👍

My running is going really well thanks. Did the Great South Run last weekend and I have a HM entered for March. That and lots of VRB meet-ups at parkrun! 😀

Congratulations on all those 3 record breaking runs, especially that 27 minutes 5K, I remember you struggling when doing the C25K program, now you can run a sub 30 minute 5k and also 10 miles, well done. 😊 🏃🏾
