It was really cold waiting for the start, and I was regretting only having 2 layers. Of course, after about 100 metres I was toasty warm - one big advantage of running.
So that's 11 different parkruns. I have at least another 9 planned out in the local (less than 30 minutes drive) area. Living near London has its advantages.
I met someone who was also a parkrun tourist, but had done something like 58 different venues. That was humbling.
The run went well, it was a bit muddy and a few rises (I hesitate to call them hills). Time wasn't bad, but my Upton Park PB remains.
I will be cycling later today or tomorrow to make use of the brief sunny spell, then back to the gym Monday or Tuesday for a proper session on the treadmill.
