Found a new route by mistake!

Only two runs this week - last Sunday and Friday, due to a change of work days. Sunday did 11k then on Friday managed another 10k. Usual route down the old railway line and into the first village. We narrowly avoided running into a car as we joined the lane by the school (forgot it was drop off time 😬). On under the railway bridge.....then decision, decision..... poor Squiggy looked confused - left? on the cycle route, up the steep steps? or right? up the lane! I quickly decided to carry on up the lane but in the confusion forgot to take the next left and carried on up! No problem, shortly came to another left and uphill again but rewarded with this lovely view 😊. Next down the narrow lane that goes to another village and back on the usual route which involves more uphill but not too steep. Finally back down the old railway line and Squiggy off chasing squirrels as usual! Lovely run. Oh, I nearly forgot - I was pleased with myself because the time was good despite the hilly bits and the last kilometre I ran in just over 6 mins - very fast for me AND no dog power either!! 😂🐶 Looking forward to Dorchester Dash next Sunday and meeting up with my daughter to celebrate our birthdays 😀

Wow, what a stunning view? That was definitely worth the route mistake...I have got scenery envy!!! There are some beautiful places where people run on here, some of, like this, look like they're on top of the world!! I am going to try my next run a run with a proper view like this...well done on a fantastic run x

Lovely view! I actually enjoy getting a little lost, as long as it doesn’t goon too long. New routes are fun, even if only for a short way - as long as it’s not raining!
