Anyone use Strava to record their runs?
When I first used it, I received a voice message, every km, giving information on time, pace etc. and I found this very useful.
I must've changed the settings because when I used it last, on Friday, I didn't receive any messages. I've looked but can't find where or what settings to change to get them back.
Can anyone help please?
Press record. Before you press start go to settings (top left corner on iphone).
Before you press start on Strava go to setting on top left corner there is something called audio cue and turn it on. I think this is what you're looking for

Hi, l had this problem and l had somehow changed the setting which records the type of activity and it was set for swimming 😂. As soon as l swapped it back to running it was fine. Also check you are not on silent/vibrate. Good luck 👍
I get similar probs with Strava from time to time - I think I've now worked out that it cancels your settings if you log out and if the app updates.
Recommendations for an alternative to Strava needed that will sync to Strava
