I’ve ran park run today took my time but my pace was much better when I was tried I slowed down then when I got my breath back and felt I could step it up I did and I felt fantastic all the way through the run my distance training must be paying off and I got a new PB 31:24 and I wasn’t even trying for my PB so I surprised myself yay so happy 😀

Thank you so much JaoJao I think my training is paying off for me as I didn’t expect a PB this week maybe that’s the approach to have if I get a PB great if I don’t there will be another time to get it. Enjoy your snooze 😉x
Thank you so much Lynsh yes I’m smashing it but my distance training is helping me big time I didn’t expect a PB today so I’m very happy 😃😉🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️xx
Well done on your new Parkrun PB! 👍 Your distance training will definately be helping - my 5k pace always improves when I am also running longer distances. 🙂
That’s great to know and thank you so much and the hills I’m finding them easier each time I run and I’m really loving it I’m on week 12 starting Monday 14 weeks in total and I should be able to do a 10K run or 60min will have to practice to get a full 10K in distance but I know I can do it 😉
Thank you so much Dexy yes a great way to start the weekend and I’m going to have a few beers later and chill 😉 it’s a great feeling getting a PB and not realising 😉x
You replied to me Kev so I'll just congratulate you on your new PB time of 31.24 at your 7th parkrun, I thought you already had ran a sub 30 minute 5k, although not at a parkrun. 😊 🏃
Thank you Alan 😉 yes I ran race for life at another park 1 lap 5k not time chipped my wife timed me and it was 28:22 but lots of hills going down and up plus it was a special event so I was fired up probably wouldn’t get that time again 😉
