Hi lovely runners!

These events are starting to get a bit popular - for those that find a 5k Parkrun isn’t quite enough for one weekend 🤣

Personally I am still rehabbing my hip injury, using the C25k app. I just did W4R2 and my breathing is still all over the place now I have to engage my core - and new bits of my legs are grumbling at finally being made to join in with the rest of me when I run. But so far, so good!

Happy running all!

😁👍

Hi Equi 👋🏽 👋🏽 , so glad things are coming together nicely. The 10ks sound great!! It’s a brilliant idea. Bravo National Trust!! 🤩🤩❤️

Hi Fab! Yes, I thought these were a great initiative for those that wanted to trail run beyond 5k without necessarily focussing on performance. Seems quite inclusive: buggies are allowed where terrain and livestock aren't prohibitive, and the recommended minimum age is 14 :)

And it’s running in some beautiful places! 😁❤️

Some are 2 laps so you could run just 1 lap :)

I was looking for ideas for a weekend away so may incorporate one of these. Thanks for the post.

And really glad your rehab is coming along nicely xx

I did my first 10k at the one in Clumber Park in December. Very well organised and a lovely run!

I did Clumber Park for the first time on Sunday 23 June. It really is a lovely run, but the 3rd lap nearly finished me 😬

It’s that little incline towards the walled garden that got me 😩🏃‍♀️

Ooh, thanks for sharing, this looks such a good idea. I struggle to do the longer runs during the week but don’t want to miss out on Parkrun in favour of running alone. This one at Avebury could be the perfect compromise! Might be a good excuse to invest in some trail shoes too 😜 👟

You’ll see some regular parkrunners at Avebury next month too E 😁 - new shoes! 🥰

These look like great fun and thanks for sharing. There's one not too far from me in Devon and miraculously on a weekend I'm not working!

Hopefully your hip injury is much improved soon. I'm in the I.C with a tendon injury and desperate to get out running soon. 😊

Thanks CH - hope you are off the IC soon too!

These look fabulous! I’d love to run at Nostell or Clumber: both have parkruns, too. Thank you for sharing 👍
