Parkrun in Chesterfield anybody?

I am going to introduce my gorgeous stepdaughter to parkrun at her local one round Poolsbrook near Chesterfield on Saturday. Is that anybody’s home run or is anybody near enough to come and join us?It’s a fairly flat run around the lake at a former coal mine, with a big car park and a cafe and the weather forecast is looking good.

Hi Sandie, I am hoping that this goes really well and so you will repeat it in the future. This would be 40-ish minutes drive from here, but my hamstring is not ready for 5k and we have folk here for the W/E, but one day, I hope. Have a great time! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🎉😊

I’m sure lots of people will have plans, as it’s Easter. About an hour for me, so very doable. Laura completed C25k a couple of months ago and I’m sure she’ll enjoy it, which means I may keep going along. I just hope she doesn’t wimp out before the weekend!

Hmm 3 hrs 5 mins from me. Maybe a tad far! 😅

Have fun Sandie. Looking forward to hearing all about it. 🏃‍♀️😀

Hmm doesn’t quite fit the “within a couple of hours” definition does it?

Somebody in the Co-op today commented on my Kat badge. Turns out she used to live in Southampton. What a coincidence!

I’m still reeling from the Bellevue Crescent coincidence too! 😅😅

I know - what is it they say about 3 degrees of separation (or something similar!)?

No worries. I think you and the Kats have done more than your share 😃 One of my besties lives in Stratford though - I feel a weekend away coming on x
