I've done 5k and 10kbut with the longer run I was finding my foot was sore after 40 mins. Got gait etc all done and they said it might be that I need a softer insole. So hopefully now I'm good to go for these longer runs. As much as I love the 5k I do think the endurence run is better suited to me.
Fingers crossed I can go longer: I've done 5k... - Bridge to 10K

That was a sensible decision to make JL on getting a gait all done, interesting that you seem to prefer the more endurance runs such as the 10K rather than the shorter ones like 5K, nevertheless you will never forget that it was C25K that got you running in the first place and off the couch. 😊 🏃

Hi johnnylewis i had the same problem when going up to 10k very recently - it was only my left foot, but the extra cushioning seems to have really helped. I think it has to do with the way i land?
Anyway hope it works for you and happy running!
