Yesterday evening was my first run in 2&1/2 weeks, thanks to the current school bug & the first run I’ve enjoyed in a month - with hindsight I may have been β€œbug brewing” because I was struggling and beginning to think that somehow the ability to run for 30 minutes had deserted me.

Off I went with no time in mind, just the intention to see how it went and deliberately going slow and staying slow. I can’t tell you how lovely it was to enjoy a run from beginning to end after struggling. πŸ˜„

β€œBug brewing” is often the cause of a run struggle! I hate that. And I never put two and two together until much later, always assuming I have just lost 50% of my fitness for no reason and because I am rubbish! πŸ˜‚ Glad to hear you are back out there and over your bug. 🐜 πŸ› πŸ•·

And yay for a lovely run. Well done, Elfe. 😘😘😘

Thank you Sadie. πŸ˜ƒ You are absolutely right. I just thought that my ability to run for 30 mins had leaked away & yes, thought I was rubbish. Bah to bugs!πŸ˜‚
