Posted on here Running support and Cholestral support.

Male Multi Tasking a Pain,

Statin Choice,

And read Post from Judthepud, Is Atrovastatin Causing my Anxiety.Much information in the links supplied.

Got replies from Springray,Markl60,Bazza1234 and Concerned. On Statin Choice Post.

Got a solution from Juju on Male Multi Tasking a Pain.

From Juju a solution with a simple trigger, GET UP AND DO IT.

Of course it is much smarter than that simple trigger as she describes.I think I understand and have enough to consolidate the habit over 6 months.

For me a morning person and not good at MT., it is perfect. But it will work for anyone.A trigger is just that, timeless but repeatable.

Get up and do my low intensive running , done , priority, everyday and then muddle through the rest of the day with my other jobs.

My HIT stuff will be every 2nd day and three times a week in the late afternoon.

On the side, picking up interesting things/ opinionπŸ€”/ advice from these 3 posts.

Running:

3 milers are healthier than marathoners.πŸ€”

Too much exercise is as bad as none.πŸ€”

Suggesting a limit of 7.2 km/day and showing a distance scale with benefits and the cut off point.πŸ€”

We need 24.2 hours to recover from a training session.πŸ€”

Medical:

Too low cholestral is as bad as too high.πŸ€”

Control and balance of insulin levels more important than cholestral levels with regard to calcium deposits in the heart.

Not a medic and not looking to influence or be anyway confrontational. I am on my way with some answers that hopefully serve me well and some leads I will pursue in time.

But for now got my plan and all I have to do is GET UP AND DO IT.

Thanks to the magic of this forum and all on it.

Atb to everyone.

Hi Tbae, very interesting post from you. For the last 10 years I have been on low dosage cholesterol tablets, the only affect they have had on me is to lower my cholesterol level. They have not affected my health whatsoever, I have gone on all my cycle runs, exercises and of course since I started running as well. Interesting what you say regarding too much exercise is as bad as none. What's new in my case is since I got my new Smartphone and installed both MapmyRUN and MapmyWALK I know the distance and calories I use.

On 10 October I got a PB at running a 5K in 32.25 I burned 455 calories.

I have put the bike away for the winter months so I now go long walks instead.

On 28th October I went a 12.5K walk using MapmyWALK, according to that I walked 17,655 steps and burned 737 calories. This afternoon I went another walk, exactly 12K according to Mapmywalk, this time 17,422 steps and burned 700 calories.

I WAS going to run another 5K tomorrow morning but after today's walk I will leave that until Thursday.

I just hope I am not doing too much exercise

Regards to you Tbae,

Alan

Your flying Alan.

Pleased for you and your experiences.

If you use search and the post titles I mentioned you will/ should be able to find the links to these items. Not sure of the research and medical science involved.Would need to read it more thoroughly.

Atb to you Alan and take care of you and yours.

"Just get up and do it" is excellent advice for everything in life. That ju-ju- is a clever woman!

And now you have a plan. Excellent!
