9K done!

[Gran4z]

Well clocked up 9k this morning - exhausted now!! Times were nothing special, and had to take time out to catch my breath, but never mind, I did it!! It was a beautiful morning by the sea, lovely clear sky...but a tad chilly. Saw a mad guy go in for a swim, his dog was more sensible and didn't go in 😀.

So plan is for a few quiet 3-5k runs to recover, then it's the big 10K - gotta be done!

Good work! 9km is not to be sniffed at! If you can do 9km, you can do 10km, trust me. 😁 Taking time to catch breath is always sensible on these longer runs, too.

Oh really good luck with your 10k. Have you stuck with Ju-ju's plan? I haven't, too many interruptions with the plan so I've been making it up as I go along! Let us know how you go...and thank you for the onward support 🌻

Well kind of...but I do worry that I'm not building up properly and sensibly to the 10k...just want to do it!! Impatient, that's me. My old legs ache this evening, despite serious stretching post run - but think I will sleep well tonight. Happy days, happy running 🙂🌻

Well done. Just the big 10km to go. Then you can take it easy with short 5km ‘recovery runs’. That always tickles me. Who thought at the beginning that any of us would consider 5km to be ‘short’!!!
