Garmin advice please

Does anyone know how to set the ‘laps’ on a Garmin?

Mine shows kilometres and time on the watch but the lap alert seems to be set diffrrently and that’s what shows on the map.

It's in the settings under Auto Lap. For more details go to the manual for your Garmin on line and search for lap distance.
