Iβve just done my last run before my charity run on Saturday. I did just under 6k on Monday, but didnβt have time to post. That was a lovely Headspace run. And I could have gone on longer. But mindful of the rest and recovery required, I left it at that.
Today was benchmark. 7 mins warm up, 3 minutes of run hard and 5 minutes cool down. Nice run to prepare for my day. Work will be pretty full on, but exciting, for the next two days.
Iβll only be doing a workout session to help to build up my stamina on Friday now, (rather than a run). So Iβm ready for Saturday!! Iβm now on the home stretch to a big running goal and Iβm sure a pretty emotional but happy day!! ππΎββοΈππΎββοΈππΎββοΈπ!

Aah thank you so much Flara!! I even bought a special pair of shorts for my run!! Itβs green with the little skirt over!! I think Iβm going to look like a rainbow before the paint throwing starts, but as I say, βOut there, donβt careβ!! Itβs a big colourful event!! ππβ€οΈ
Oh itβs garish! Shorts are a neon(ish) green! I also have a very old school headband/goggles with blue shades to keep the paint out of my eyes. Nothing to cover the mouth though! π€£ππππ€
I guess Iβll look like a clown before and after. Iβll have it!! π€£β€οΈ

Good luck, enjoy it and you'll be fab! Don't start off too fast and pace yourself, then give it your all at the end. Don't forget to smile for the cameras and be prepared to feel epic when you finish πͺπͺπͺ

Iβm feeling excited already!! I canβt believe itβs tomorrow!! π± It seemed such a long way away when I signed up. And... no way did I think Iβd be running all the way. I just have to focus on staying in my capability zone with the pace. So Iβll be tracking down a slow Pacer and just pick it up naturally.
