As you know I’m on the Bridge but I’ve got a new Programme to pace myself with the aim to do a great 5k Charity Run in early September. This has brought so many new experiences to my running. And it comes with some of those same doubts, confusions, surprises and of course fun as the C25K!
Today was a 20 minute recovery run, where you just take it easy and relaxed. You stop after a warm up to stretch a bit (😱....🤷🏽♀️, but I thought just go with it!) and everything was ok!
I did feel a little discombobulated by the guided run conversation that I chose today 🤦🏽♀️ (Not enjoyable, but too late! 🙄). Next time I’ll stick with the coach that the run provides. The lessons continue. Switching it up - leave it alone! 🤓😂
The aim was to cover just 2k and I ended up doing 2.76 and it was a comfortable run. I’m very pleased with that. My app reminds me that it’s a 6 week post grad running streak! I’m not always pumped about getting out there, but I get out there!! 👍🏽
