My bonny little ParkRun barcode band has arrived. Yay! This has no relevance to my request but thought I’d let you know anyway 😂
So tonight, although I’d planned to go to the gym, I’m going for an outdoor run. I don’t particularly enjoy going beyond 5-6k, mainly because I get bored. I enjoy 5k distances. The long runs get in the way of my hectic life as a teacher and single mum. However I think I need to do the odd run 6k+ as I have a 10k in September. I’ve done 10k a few times but 💤🙄😂 Anyway the temperature has dropped significantly today thank goodness so I’m going to amble around the streets getting myself lost with no major route in mind. I’m hoping I’ll enjoy it more. Target: 6-8k. Wish me luck!
