Did my 5k this morning at a moderate pace, just under 35 mins, felt comfortable and was tempted to carry on but behaved myself and stopped, last one in India at least for a month or so, photo is view from the treadmill in the gym, enjoy your running all at home but take care in the heat

Hmm, not sure about wild, been known to be mildly indignant on occasion 🤨

Sorry my friend, still early here, the folk song just came to mind, you are far away and I was thinking about your user name, and now that I think about the words of the song, quite inappropriate. You are correct to be indignant. lol.

Keep up your good work and safe flight home.

Actually it is completely appropriate, my user name is derived from where I live and the football team I support (Doncaster Rovers) and they always play The Wild Rover ad the team comes out onto the pitch. Would take more than that to make me even mildly indignant, thanks for the good wishes, one more day at work and then fly home tomorrow

So interesting.

I am glad you are on your return shortly.

I would be beating myself up for making you homesick.

Had an uncle years ago, who started with Doncaster Rovers, transferred to Newcastle United and then to Glasgow Rangers.

Bill Paterson, centre half, gosh talking 60 -70 years ago now.

Lost my emoji’s and me thinks maybe some marbles also lol.

Take good care of you.

Just looked him up, played 113 times for us between 50&55 (part of the most successful period we have ever had, crowds would have been 30,000plus and he was transferred for £22,250 plus the receipts of a friendly against Newcastle, that would have been a huge amount of money back then, thanks for mentioning him (even found a photo for sale of him in Rovers kit on eBay!)

Thanks, just brought a lovely tear to my eye.

Must tell my cousin , his niece.

He married a Doncaster lass, the local beauty queen of the day.

Thank you and you take good care of you.

Nicely done, tiger! 🐯

Though with a view as enticing as that and a treadmill to run on, how could you not have a good time!! 😂😂

Get back to Blighty and run on real surfaces... xx

Your words as well as those of Oldfloss were ringing in my ears as I lolloped along listening to my 70's album, no chance of a PB so just enjoyed the run

Hi there! We're about at the same place I think....Moderate for me today too, for the week two 5k. My motto is going to remain, "steady but strong." as I inch up to the 5.5k Happy running.
