I believe that it’s ok to mix up the short, medium and long runs and each week do them in any order?
I like running in the morning, so I look at the forecast for my potential mornings, and slot the long run in on the coolest day, and then the medium one on the next best day, leaving the short run for the warmest day.
I suppose in winter I’ll want to be doing a long run on a dry day, with other runs either as and when, or indoors if necessary.
Anyway it’s all mixed up a bit at the moment due to a celebratory holiday 😊.
That’s a good way to decide on when torun. I wish I was that organised. Today I did a 10k with hills (which is shorter run for me) but forgot that I was doing a 10k walk with my daughter this afternoon . My legs certainly know they’ve been active . 🙃
