Week 3 since I graduated

โ€ข11 Replies

Run 3 today , not totally committed like most of you on here , I am proud that I am still doing at least one run a week ,

Ran 4K today in 32:40 which isn't far to some or as fast

I am not going to run much over 30 minutes at the moment finding its enough

Running time for me ๐Ÿ˜‰

It doesn't matter, you are out there and running rather than sat on the couch ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

Good for you. What I really like about running is you can as often as you like, as far as you like and whenever you fancy going.

Well you can run when you want ,and for how long. But.... you can run๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Ha! that would be a good time for me, and i graduated in January. Doing 30 minute runs for a while is the way to go. you need to consolidate what you have gained with the programme. when your body and mind are ready, you will probably fins you want to extend your time or distance. x

I am quite pleased with my time and distance at the moment.

Not really sure what I want to achieve as a runner (get me A

Runner )

Only time will tell, what ever I decided I have to be happy with it otherwise I will give in and giving in is not an option now

Good job keeping up the 30 minute runs Jen. Building up more stamina and strength.

You could try out the c25k + podcasts if you fancy a change, but just keeping up the regular runming is fine. ๐Ÿ˜Šx

in reply to Bluebirdrunner

Have done the C25K + and managed to keep up the pace I was kna..... By end of it didn't think I would manage to walk at end but I did , second time was easier ๐Ÿ˜Š

3rd time I couldn't get podcast to play ,so I went with Sarah Millican

Thanks for the reply ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Iโ€™m pretty much at the same stage as you...trying to keep getting out there 3 times a week for 30 mins and not worrying about time or distance at the moment. Iโ€™m useless at persevering with things over time so hope to embed this habit so that it becomes part of normal life. So far so good!

At the start of the program I was doing great , but then the weather got in the way

Maybe if I had a treadmill I would do 3 times a week, OK two

I also try to get out once a week on my bike but if neither happens I am not beating myself up about it ,
