😢

I’ve been ill with head cold which lead to a migraine so I’ve not been running at all this week. I’ve only just managed to keep working which left no energy for anything else. I feel so guilty and gutted, my training was going really well but have now come to a stop. I have just been managing to keep moving for 5 miles a day but feel I’ve lost my mojo a bit. I did get up to 8k , will take it easy today and do 30 mins on cross trainer, then will do 3.5k run tomorrow , all being well.

It doesn't sound like you've lost your mojo - just been under the weather. You won't lose fitness in that period and the plan to do 3.5k tomorrow sounds like the right thing to do as you aren't putting yourself under any pressure. Hope you feel better soon.

Your training hasn't come to a stop, don't worry. Just get back out there gently at first to make sure you are fully recovered. You won't have lost any fitness although you may be tired from being so poorly. Hope you feel better now and can get back out there. Enjoy!

Thank you , went and did 3.9k today, found it hard but then discovered I upped my pace, particularly in the beginning, knocking 30 seconds of my last 3.9k 😁
