I'm seriously thinking of going for a run in the morning 🤔

Am I mad to think about it?

It's been a week since I last ran and my motivation is lacking at the moment

Anyone else running tomorrow?

I was thinking about a park run but if I can't get out in the morning I'll do a shorter run near home

You're not mad at all, since I'll be heading out on Xmas day afternoon for a double loop around the village (about 4 miles).

Moreover, if Santa has delivered new bling overnight, Xmas day presents the perfect opportunity to try it out, particularly since the streets will no doubt be deserted.

Yes do it! I really, really want to be out tomorrow but I have a dodgy back/hip and think I need to rest it for a couple of days. It'll be lovely - really quiet, enjoy

I'm hoping to as well - it's been a week for me too following a sore knee, and I have been chomping at the bit. Will just go for a short, slow rehab jog I think, before all the chaos starts. We are in the south of Italy at the moment and although obviously not warm, it's pretty mild so I think an early morning run should be feasible.

Well I stopped thinking about it and did it!

A lovely 5k on Christmas morning 💪

Even when it really started drizzling it was a lovely morning for a run, nice and quiet and passed one other runner 👌

Now I can eat my Christmas lunch knowing I've earned it 😉

I’ve prepped all the veg and am pulling on the scaffolding as I type. Blowing a gale out there ... I shall try to keep the wind behind me.
