Them hills

We're staying with my brother and sister-in-law this week in a very hilly part of Germany. You can either run along the valley or head more or less vertically up a hill. There is a castle above the village and it's difficult enough walking up to it. Today I decided to run it. Because I have heard from you lot that hills are good for you.

I had forgotten how long the path was. I had forgotten how steep it was. But after 1.5 km and 139 metres straight up I was panting at the top. I don't know how you do it, I was so slow! Then I ran down again and continued along the valley to soothe my poor legs. After a total of 6.6k I was well ready for my breakfast.

I would like to do the same run a couple more times this week, but we shall see!
