I ran 5.5 miles on Monday in my new stability brooks and my ankle moaned from 0.8-2.0 miles and thereafter was ok, an improvement on the nike neutral pegasus. I didn't run on Thursday as life got in the way but I did see my gp who has said to run but also do ankle strengthening exercises. This morning I got up for parkrun and my 7 year old came along too. We ran the 5k at her pace and I encouraged her all the way. We came in at 33.25 which was an enjoyable run. My ankle did not cause any issues today at all. So was that because my run was a slower pace at 10.50 instead of 9.50 or was it because my focus was on my daughter for the run?
