Over the last few weeks, I started to accept that my foot may take a lot longer to heal/repair that I ever could have anticipated - and the nature of the injury could mean the complete end of my running "career". But during this time, I also joined my local gym and actually started to create a new habit - called "going to the gym daily" . Weight machines of all kinds - rowing machines and ellipticals for the cardio. Now a bout of head cold which has moved to the chest has put a stop to all that as well. Maybe it is time to go back to excessive drinking again!!!
