It's been 2 years since my last 'Shoe Porn' post:

Not HyperCrimson/WolfGrey this time, but WashedTeal/WolfGrey.

And 99% certain that they will make me faster

PS: in the time that it has taken me to photograph them, and write this post... it has started tipping it down with rain. Hmmpf. That teaches me for posting when I should be running

TBH I preferred the HyperCrimson, but they don't offer that colour any more.

It says H2O repel on them - they're waterproof - out you go. And new shoes definitely make you faster (for the first 2 weeks!).

They've repelled the mud admirably! And pretty happy with these shoes that I ordered online and had never worn before going out for a 8.5km run.

I have lemon scented spray 'Lemon Sole' for trainer hygiene They are now a bit damp, but remarkably clean following an off-road trail run.

Not bad Annie... you mentioned 3 songs from my teenage years (1980s) in your reply. 'Hyper(active)' - Thomas Dolby, 'Run like the wolf' - Duran Duran, 'Christian' - China Crisis. I'll be humming them all day, now.

They've been out for a 8.5km trot, and definitely have more support than my old HyperCrimson Pegasus 31's.

Long slow run this morning (that's 6 minute pace for me), just breaking them in. 8.5km cross-country and legs (left achilles especially, which has been niggly all year) feels great at the moment.

Go you! I wish my slow pace was 6 mins.. I only get that rarely and usually with a tail wind!

You had a good run and good that it all felt fine too!
